Chippewa National Forest, Minnesota

You can find the Chippewa National Forest in the heart of northern Minnesota. It was established in 1908 with its original name as the Minnesota National Forest. However, in the year 1928 or twenty years after it was established as a national forest, the government changed its name to Chippewa Forest.
